Beginner Kihon
Start your Aikido journey step by step
Beginner keiko (Aikido Kihon) covers the foundations of Aikido: posture and breathing (shisei), safe falling (ukemi), basic movements (tai sabaki) and the first fundamental techniques. Everything is taught step by step, at a pace suitable for each practitioner.
No previous martial arts experience or special fitness level is needed - training starts from the very basics, and everyone practices according to their own abilities. Beginner trainings take place three times a week, so you can easily find a time that suits you.
Aikido develops coordination, balance, body awareness and the ability to stay calm. The joints are strengthened, not overloaded, which makes Aikido suitable for long-term practice and people of all ages.
What to bring: comfortable sports clothing (a judo or aikido gi if you have one), sandals and a water bottle. Just come to the dojo a little before the training starts - the first training is free.
